Bible Verses About Teachers

Teachers hold a vital role in God’s plan, called to instruct, guide, and build others in truth and love. James 3:1 reminds us that teachers are held to a higher standard, while Ephesians 4:11 shows they are gifts to the Church for equipping the saints. 1 Timothy 4:11 urges leaders to teach with authority, and Titus 2:7-8 calls them to set an example through sound doctrine.

Proverbs 9:9 encourages wise teaching that benefits both teacher and learner. Ultimately, Matthew 28:19-20 commissions all disciples to teach the nations, grounding every lesson in Christ’s commands.
